Solar Eclipse - India.
Here the solar eclipse occurred at midday. At
that time it looks like evening and the light was
soft and cool. This is the longest annular solar
eclipse of the millennium.

I have used filter to reduce the light.Near the sun there
was some clouds, at some times hid the sun.

Shadows of a tree during the eclipse. It looked different
from the normal shadows. The small light areas between
the shadows have curved shapes! (See the image at the
bottom for the normal shadow)

Wow Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI've seen it but I wasn't able to take a shot:(.
How wonderful that you got photos of the eclipse! The shadows during the eclipse are fascinating, also good that you included normal shadow for comparison.
ReplyDeleteI am watching a documentary about the history of your country. It is so interesting. I watched the celebration of the monsoon, and I am watching people being covered with colored pigments from above. Your painted elephants are special. I know so little about your country especially the earliest history.
ReplyDeleteFantastic Eclipse Shots !! Beauty or i must say Blooming Beauty !!!
ReplyDeleteMarvelous shots of eclipse.
ReplyDeleteThe one time I saw an eclipse many years ago, the thing that struck me as so freaky was the shadows of the leaves, so thank you for posting pictures of that!
